Integrating Polimapper into your website environment just got better with Polimapper’s updated website embed functionality.

Following on from Polimapper’s V4 update and as part of our 2025 roadmap, we have recently improved our website embed functionality. The new iframe will fit more seamlessly into your site, presenting your visualisations in a user-friendly way.

Additionally, you will still be able to customise your iframes just as before.

Our customisable iframes enable you to select the various elements of the stand alone application when embedding it into a website, so it can fit the page in the way you want it to.

Elements such as the logo, title and page footer can be removed from embedded versions. The iframe generator in the Polimapper content management system makes adding or removing elements as simple as ticking or unticking a box.

Polimapper’s Geodata Digest example:

In this page, we have used our ‘Installations under the Great British Insulation Scheme’ updated map iframe as part of our Geodata Digest, our daily breakdown of the latest public data.

In this example we have removed the share icon, intro text and footer for a more seamless embed into the page.

Below is a previous version of the iframe on our ‘Local Government Finance Settlement 2025/26’ Geodata Digest piece.

The new iframe removes all borders for a more seamless fit on the website and is now fully displayed in the page rather than requiring a scrolling action within the frame.
